The annual Earth Day cleanup is quickly approaching on Saturday, April 12th. Neighbors should register to volunteer on SOLVE’s website. Volunteers meet in the Sylvan Westgate business park lot at 1750 SW Skyline, next to the Chevron station. The event runs from 9 a.m. – noon. Equipment and supplies will be provided, as well as free parking in the business parking lot. Volunteers will tackle litter removal at the entrance of our neighborhood and bike and pedestrian pathways. Volunteers will clean graffiti off of signs and trim overgrowth on sidewalks.

There are 58 spots available, to register:
- Go to VOLUNTEER at solveoregon.org.
- In the Search bar, type “Sylvan Highlands Neighborhood Cleanup.”
- When it appears, click “Sylvan Highlands Neighborhood Cleanup.”
Not able to attend + want to support? We are looking for donations to provide pizza and a drink for our volunteers. You can give at secure.givelively.org/donate/neighborhoods-west-northwest/sylvan-highlands-neighborhood-association.
Thanks to our partners, Waste Management, American Property Management, Pizza Schmizza and Plaid Pantry, the neighborhood will shine.
