Over the past weekend we had an amazing turnout of neighbors volunteer and participate in our SOLVE Neighborhood Clean-Up!
- 50 volunteers!
- 2 cubic Yard Dumpster Filled!
- Farthest Traveled Volunteer, WILSONVILLE!
Our neighborhood benefited from all those efforts and for that we are grateful! Thank you for caring about our community!
“A special gratitude of thanks and recognition for the good work of 2 people in our wonderful neighborhood.
Brent Dahl and Rick Kneuven.
Good neighbors who cut up and transported limbs in multiple runs to the Metro Dump Station last Saturday.
The City of Portland couldn’t commit to cleaning up our busy road because their backlog is 4-6 months. So, these two fine gentlemen worked together on our SOLVE cleanup date, April 17th, and then again last Saturday, April 24th, using chainsaws and trucks to move the debris off the road. There’s still more to do, but they made a major dent. Thanks to Steve & Sarah Harrington for loaning their old red truck. Thanks to Brent for the idea and his rig. Thanks to Rick for his cheerful willingness to help.
Hooray for Sylvan Highlands and the fine folks who live here!”Sally Kneuven, SHNA VP & Secretary
